Bullishbeat, your source for data-driven insights into the market! My name is Gustav Andersson, and I’m thrilled and so happy to finally launch this blog. I started this project just before Christmas 2023 and I finally feel ready to launch my passion project to the world.
My background in network administration has equipped me with strong problem-solving skills,abit about applications and scripting. Combine that with a healthy dose of ambition and the free time to dedicate to this new endeavor, and I’m ready to dive in and see where this journey takes me!
After university, coding took a backseat for a while. But then, as I delved deeper into the world of finance, particularly through managing my own savings account, I discovered a new fascination with the stock market. This reignited my passion for programming, and I started creating small applications and scripts to analyze data. With quantitative analysis, I now crunch loads of data and use techniques to gain market insights.With these tools we can identify potential opportunities that would be cumbersome doing with traditional methods. This brings us into the heart of what Bullishbeat is all about: democratizing access to powerful financial insights. Usually, this kind of information is locked behind paywalls, requiring expensive subscriptions. But with Python, Pandas, and machine learning as our tools, we can break down those barriers and make these insights available for everyone. I got more ideas coming that I want to realize but this is where we start. One step at a time.
Since this is currently a hobby, you can expect a few posts each week. I’ll be sharing insights into quantitative analysis, discussing various strategies, and providing commentary on significant events within the stock market. All of this is provided free of charge, as Bullishbeat is my pastime activity.
